Decoration Theme: Samudra Manthan
Decoration Description: Decoration is made mainly for small children tailing story about Samudra Manthan by Devas (gods) & Danavas ( demons) . In the centre 3D turtle is made from a printed paper and on its back Mandar Parvat is also made from newspaper & coloured with Poster colours. Vasuki - the king of serpents was used as churning rope in Samudra Manthan is made out of paper. At the right side Devas hold tale of Vasuki where as at left side Danavas hold Head of Vasuki. Water is shown with blue colour papers with two different shades. Fourteen Ratnas (gems or treasures) were produced from the ocean are shown in the decoration. In the Left side 1) Varuni( i.e. Madira) 2) Panchjanya Shankha 3) Amrut Kalash hold by Shri Vishnu in Mohini Rupa, 4) Apsara Rambha, 5) Kalpavriksha & 6) Airavat (elephant) are shown. At the right Side 7) Godess Lakshumi, 8) Dhanvantari - the Vaidya, 9) Kamdhenu, 10) Halahal - the poison swallowed by the lord Shiva, and 11) Uchhaishravas - the divine 7-headed horse are shown. In the Centre, 12) Chandra – moon is shown at the feet of Ganpati Bappa , Where as 13) Kaustubhamani & 14) Sharanga - a powerful bow are shown at top (on head of bappa).
Decoration Materials Used: Paper, Old Paper, Cello tape, Shadu Mati, Gum, Samudra Manthan, Newspaper, Diya Light, Moon, Pheta, Focus Light
