Decoration Theme: Flower Decoration
Decoration Description: Primarily only cloth and we have been using same set of clothing material for decoration since the past 4 years in different patterns to make maximum use of it and reduce wastage towards environment. Also for lighting we have used LED lights that consume less electricity. We have made use of flowers and bamboo shoots in our decoration. The bamboo shoots have been just picked froma bamboo plantation in our vicinity and we will be using them in our home as decoration after the visarjan. The flowers can survive till a week more and will be used in home decoration after the visarjan. We follow the Eco friendly way for Ganesha Sthapna and Visarjan as well by not making use of any crackers or loud music and no procession since they cause Noise and Air Pollution. The Ganesha idol was immersed after one and a half day..! For me being able to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi the eco friendly way is what makes me feel the presence of the LORD's Divinity.And Creating Awareness regarding this in the society is more like a prayer towards the ALMIGHTY and we have been creating awareness since the last 4 years and this year as well and we will keep doing it. Hope my ganesha wins the contest.
