Enjoying Ganpati Festival 2016 in Vadodara City

From the day of Bhadrapad Shudh Chathurti to the day of Anant Chaturdashi, for ten days, Vadodara in Gujarat celebrates Ganpati Festival with a lot of mirth. The actual vidhi of puja and vrat is followed by the people, they celebrate and make sure that the Son of Lord Shiva and Parvati that is Lord Ganesha blesses everyone equally.

There are huge pandals erected in the Vadodara city and the localities and pandals that you should definitely hop around are like the Pratap Madga ni Pole, Marimata no Khancho, Dandiya bazar, Kalupura, Tadfadiya and many others. The immersion procession is also taken out by the devotees with chants and shouts, hailing Lord Ganesha!
