From the day of Bhadrapad Shudh Chathurti to the day of Anant Chaturdashi, for ten days, Vadodara in Gujarat celebrates Ganpati Festival with a lot of mirth. The actual vidhi of puja and vrat is followed by the people, they celebrate and make sure that the Son of Lord Shiva and Parvati that is Lord Ganesha blesses everyone equally.

The immersion procession is also taken out by the devotees with chants and shouts, hailing Lord Ganesha!
